REC Registries: Issuance and Lifecycle Management
Xpansiv operates a global network of renewable energy certificate (REC) registries, delivering trusted infrastructure that powers global environmental markets. We offer a wide range of instruments and registries spanning compliance and voluntary markets within the U.S. and around the world, with 30% of RECs globally being issued through our technology.
North American Renewables Registry (NAR™)
NAR is the trusted backbone for renewable energy tracking for projects across roughly 30 U.S. states and Canadian provinces, plus Puerto Rico and Guam. NAR serves as a registry of record for multiple compliance programs and voluntary commitments, and is a system of record for the Green-e Energy program – providing transparency, scale and reliability. NAR offers RECs, Hourly RECs and Zero Emission Certificates (ZECs).
Tradable Instrument for Global Renewables (TIGR™) Registry
The TIGR Registry provides a transparent, standardized platform for global renewable energy tracking – enabling project developers and corporations to issue and manage TIGRs across jurisdictions. The registry enforces robust traceability and reporting to prevent double counting and support global sustainability claims.
Evident I-REC(E) Registry
The I-REC(E) Registry provides a globally recognized, market-based instrument for tracking renewable electricity. With registered assets representing 200 GW of renewable energy capacity, I-REC(E)s are available in 60+ countries.
